Description
Our English Cocker Spaniel at six months. At this age, an English Cocker's feet and ears are disproportionately large. But those big feet with webbing between the toes will make her a strong swimmer someday. English Cocker Spaniels are very different in looks and temperament from their American Cocker counterparts. They are actually "small Springer Spaniels" since, in earlier years, Engish Cockers and English Springers came from the same litters, with the deciding factor being size. English Cockers tend to be about 25-30 pounds, while Springers tend to be around 45 pounds. Both are extremely sweet and loyal dogs, bred for flushing game birds. English Cockers come in a variety of color combinations. The color of this puppy is "Orange Roan" meaning the orange color hairs are found throughout the white hairs as well as in darker, denser orange patches (such as you see on her ears).
