This photo captures the very essence of the Florida interior realms, where you'll find beautiful, peaceful rivers, blue and white tropical skies, and the ever-present Cabbage Palm. You'll also find lots of Alligators here, too!! Photographed at the Myakka River State Park in September of 2013.

Welcome to Florida The Sunshine State! ABOUT ME: I'm so glad you stopped by my gallery of coastal photography and photo-art! My first passion is photographing the coastal scenes, birds, and wildlife that surround me on Florida's Gulf Coast. My second passion is creating digital art using my photographs as a starting point. My newest passion is turning my photos and digital art into fabric designs for my new wearable art clothing line. You'll see lots of examples of all of these here. ABOUT MY WORK: The inspiration for my work comes from my love affair with the sunshine, sugar-white sand, and sparkling turquoise water here on Florida's Suncoast.
