Artist's Description
Like many Floridians, we decided to evacuate before Hurricane Irma (Sept., 2017) struck our city of Sarasota. After the hurricane passed, we spent 12+ hours on the road in heavy post-evacuation traffic trying to get back home. What a wonderful homecoming we got by this brilliant Sarasota Sunset, in the shape of a hurricane, just as we headed down the last couple blocks before reaching our home! We felt like the sunset was saying welcome home to us and bye-bye to Irma.
