Artist's Description
Photographed from the deck of NoKoMo's Sunset Hut, a casual-dining, outdoor restaurant with a thatched roof and gorgeous views of Dona Bay in Nokomis, Florida. The deck of the restaurant is on the second story of the structure, making for an unobstructed view. Dona Bay opens into the Gulf of Mexico via the Venice Jetty after passing Bird Island and Snake Island, and also flows into Roberts Bay. Nokomis is about 15 miles South of Sarasota, just South of Casey Key, and just North of Venice. This original photograph has been digitally watercolored by the photographer/artist. The original, "unpainted" photograph is also available and can be found in my Coastal and Tropical gallery.
About Susan Molnar

My newest passion is turning my photos and digital art into fabric designs for my new wearable art clothing line. You'll see lots of examples of all of these here. ABOUT MY WORK: The inspiration for my work comes from my love affair with the sunshine, sugar-white sand, and sparkling turquoise water here on Florida's Suncoast. Each image starts out as my own original photography. Some pieces...
