Photographed from my balcony on Lido Key, Florida, just across the street from Lido Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The light pole outside my office window on the third floor of our condo provides the perfect perch for our local Osprey to eat his fresh-catch lunch. He has a nest just a couple blocks away. He (or she) brings the fish here right after catching them. He eats what he needs, then I often see him fly off with the remains. I assume he's taking them to his nest. On this particular day, he brought a pretty large Sheepshead fish and posed for me with the fish dangling off the side of the post for several minutes. What a catch!
