This peaceful, sunset scene was photographed just as the last rays of sunlight turned the two sails on the horizon into gold as they headed out into the Gulf of Mexico.

Photographed from Sarasota's Bayfront Park overlooking Sarasota Bay just as the moon was rising and the sun was setting. I love the touches of gold highlighting the sails of the two distant boats, as well as the masts and other equipment on board the two foreground ships. This is an original photograph that has been digitally painted as a watercolor and is signed and year-dated by the photographer/artist.
