Summertime on the Gulf of Mexico brings dramatic thunderstorms nearly every afternoon. The clouds turn almost black and great bolts of lightening flash all around with window-shaking thunder! Usually within a few minutes or maybe an hour, the sky clears, the sun re-emerges, and the rushing torrents of rain water running down the streets dries up like it never happened!
