Description
Ringling Bridge, only about 10 years old, allows even the tallest sailboats to pass under it, ensuring that traffic traveling to St. Armand's Circle is not impeded. This beautiful sailboat with it's navy blue hull and yellow-striped sail, looked tiny as it slid under the huge bridge. In the background to the left is Bird Key, followed by Coon Key and St. Armand's Key. St. Armand's Circle is a lovely tourist destination with a huge selection of beautiful shops and restaurants. Beyond St. Armand's, you'll cross over to Lido Key, or you can head North to Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island. All of these spectacular barrier islands surrounding Sarasota provide a tropical paradise for residents, snow birds, and vacationers.
This original photograph has been digitally watercolored by the photographer/artist and is signed and year-dated. Several other shots of this sailboat as well as other nautical prints, are available in my "Coastal & Tropical Scenes" gallery. If you're a sailor or decorating with a nautical theme, a grouping of these would be the perfect finishing touch!
